A week ago today I was on an airplane — some 30,000+ feet up in the air — traveling to California for Blog Sugar. I was facing fears, getting ready to hug friends I’ve never hugged in person before, to do some shopping that I didn’t know I’d be doing {thanks Linds & Jeannett}, to speak at a conference when really I’ve never ever spoken at a conference before… So many firsts and so many blessings, and so many gifts and so much Praise.
You know my uncle called me last weekend? He’s a pilot and he wanted to answer any questions I had on my fear. So much Praise. :]
Blog Sugar was so so so amazing and uplifting. And in the few days since my California trip, in between making my to-do list day after day this week, I’m really thinking about the friendships made from my blog & shop, and I’m so thankful for them ♥
Know what I know about you? You are stronger than you know, wiser than you believe, more powerful than you give yourself credit for and a World Rocker of epidemic proportions. Take a breath into all that you are!!!! :)

Isn’t the world we live in just so great? Yes, there are some horrors and extremely saddening things. But we also live in such an exciting time, too. When technology is so great and allows us to reach out and get to know others across the country and even across the world. To lift each other up, share in each others’ pitfalls, and just enjoy one another’s company…no matter where you’re located! Such a fun time to be alive! Glad you’re able to take part in all that the world has to offer. :)
Girl, thank you for being you. I read your fear of flying post and that’s me. In a nutshell…totally. I feel at times I’ve let it hold me back which is the very thing I’m so against. Thank you for your honesty and transparency.
Ah, missing friends… I understand the feeling. I miss my college friends dearly, but its so good when you get to see them and huge them. Huge blessings!
So neat that your uncle called to answer your questions! My husband has his pilots license and is working on getting a job as a pilot, so we talk lots and lots about planes. Its so good to have people to talk through your fears with!
