My fun thing this week was ordering some yummy yarn to use to craft a few more holiday gifts. Four down and a bunch to go, but with lovely supplies to work with it’s fun to keep on crafting.
This week was crazy busy- but one night my husband made a DQ run after the kids went to bed- sinful!!! So worth it.
We had a milestone week in our house, my twins started preschool with no tears and mommy enjoyed for the first time in 8 years some blissful quiet time!! Hooray!!!
I’m job searching! Even though it is a challenge to keep trusting through the job hunt, it is fun to come across new things to apply for and imagine myself in the position! :)

One fun part of the week was my husband giving me my birthday present a week and 1/2 early – part of which was shopping together at Old Navy. The other was our best friends came in from Maryland for the day to spend with us :) it was great week!!!
I don’t know about fun for ME but my daughter is thrilled to be getting a new bedroom this weekend while we completely rearrange the second floor of our house to make room for daughter #2!

Our best friends had their 1st baby this week-a baby girl-so we got to hold a little newborn. SO precious!

Yesterday, my daughter and I spent the afternoon at the zoo.. it was a beautiful fall day here in Wichita. We had a great time. For dinner my husband I met some friends and had Indian/Pakistan food. great day!!

this week marked the halfway point of my brother’s deployment in Afghanistan! 6 months to go! he’ll be home just in time to see his first child born.

i went to my first moms group this week and it was fabulous!
Highlight of my week was during a family bike ride around the neighborhood my 8 year old sat back in the bike trailer with his baby sister. One of our neighborhood teenagers saw us and yelled out, “i see you matt”. My son replied, “oh man, now everyone is going to think I can’t ride a bicycle”.
My two year old is finally potty trained!

Between my design work and my new shirt shop, my hubby and I have been able to add a ton toward our adoption! But what’s even better is he got almost all our dossier paperwork done. The cutest thing from the week was my daughter asking me to make her an africa shirt because its where her sister is coming from. So full of love that little cutie! Something fun about my week would be that my daughter learned how to say “nana” which is what we call my mom. We skype with them regularly because we live so far away and she said it over and over tonight … my mom cried happy tears! It was wonderful.

I was able to spend Saturday with a friend who is learning to sew. We spent all day at different fabric and craft shops planning her projects and buying fabrics, and answering questions. I really hope she sticks with it. I would love to have a flesh and blood friend who sews. You digital friends are great, but having my own Friday night sew-in would be fabulous. I loved sharing my love of sewing with someone. Also, I learned about the lovely Gussy from Jen at TT&J. Your shop is lovely and your blog is, too. Best wishes on your flight back home.

I got to watch my daughter paint her first pumpkin!
Fun so far this week – I painted my nails this greyish color polish I won for free…and love it! What a difference some polish on the nails makes.
I get to watch my USU AGGIES beat those stinkin cougars over at BYU this Friday!!
What’s fun about my week is that once it’s over, my kids will have two weeks off of school- Wah hoo!!

Something fun about my week is that I get to spend some time with my parents on a trip to CA for Blog Sugar. Blog Sugar was such blessing. I loved your talk Maggie!
My fun part of my week was frying up all the fish I caught and eating them for dinner, finishing up some pin cushions for my Etsy account and getting ready for a quilting retreat :) Thanks for the giveaways.
The coolest part of my week is going to be the weekend…literally. Our highs are going from the 90s to the 70s! Can’t wait to get outside with my camera!

The most exciting thing about my week is watching my son who just learned to walk, exploring the world around him!
Spending time with my kids at their softball and soccer games…followed by ice cream.
I love that we’ve lived in our brand new house for a week now and are loving it!
Something great about my week- I got to start wearing some of the beautiful scarves from my (rather large) collection since the weather is cooling down!

This week I’ve been a craftin….doing Halloween decor-Halloween is almost as fun to decorate for as Christmas don’t ya think?! I’ve been spray painting like crazy!

Best part of my week was making one of our teachers goals come to fruition through massive parent donations I organized!! Love making the school a better place for our children!

This past week, I took my daughter to Disney on Ice at the Oklahoma state fair! We had a blast and enjoyed walking around after and visiting the butterfly garden. It was so much fun!

This past weekend I got to spend the weekend with my fiance’s in-laws in northern Minnesota. It was great to get to know such wonderful people, I’ll soon call family!!

Hummm…this week we gathered all of our pumpkins from the garden and did a mini photo shoot;)
We are going apple picking this weekend at a local apple farm and the highs are suppose to be in the high 60’s.., bring on Fall!!!!!!
Just this evening, I played on the swing set with my two precious kiddos! We had a great time enjoying the (somewhat) cooler weather. :)
I can’t remember if did this yet….something fun…..we are taking a road trip tomorrow up to Virginia (from Florida) to pick out our new home! And 4 kids in a car for 10 hours has GOT TO BE FUN!!

Hi There! Happy Tuesday! Well, my hubby has been in Halloween mode this week; unpacking all the decorations and coming up with a plan on how to decorate the yard for our Zombie party this Halloween. My “almost” 2 year old son was watching him unpack all the ghosts, vampires, ghouls, and such with awe and amazement on his face. Then the hubby turned on the radio & it is playing some classic rock and dance music and the little boy is just dancing away. It’s so cute watching my little boy trying shake his little booty to the music. I just had to laugh! Good Times! Have a GREAT weekend everyone! };o)
