Day 2 of Giveaway Week, are you ready?!

About 2 years ago, when I was just starting to get the hang of my shop, how to sell handmade, how to market, how to blog, I found The Nester and soon enough she took me under her wing *wink*. Time has proven her to be a constant, kind, encouraging mentor and friend to me. She’s so wise — I’m so thankful. It seemed only fitting to have The Nester share with the Gussy Sews community a few sentences on having a handmade business/on Gussy Sews/on taking risks. Here’s what she wrote ~

It’s been such fun to watch Gussy Sews rapidly blossom into a successful business. Gussy was willing to take a risk, quit her day job and do the work so that she can do what she loves ~ it really is inspiring to watch. I love my Gussy bags but mostly, I like having Gussy as a friend who encourages me in my own business and following my passions. Thanks Gussy for sharing your talents AND story with us! Have I mentioned how much the handmade community is a wonderful source of encouragement? Seriously. It’s been monumental in the success of my business, not to mention to so many other handmade shop owners. I love it and the opportunities it has brought us all, and yeow! it brings me so much joy.

Any tips in the meantime???
