Oh my heavens ~ how is this day really, REALLY here?! Friends, this past year has been an amazing journey and if you’re reading this now then YOU are a part of my journey. My love and gratitude for all of you is very deep. Thank you so, so much for supporting Gussy Sews ~ and to CELEBRATE I have a whole week of giveaways planned. Yeow!

One year ago tomorrow {May 17th, 2010} I quit my day job to work on Gussy Sews full-time. Zack and I were so pumped to start this new adventure and today, an entire year later, we are thankful for its success.

For fun, I’ll be sharing a few things this week that help “document” my journey from the past year, along with the MASSIVE giveaways each day. I have over $1,100+ in giveaway prizes for you :]

Giveaway #1

The first giveaway is for the oh-so popular Yellow Woodgrain tote bag. I released this print earlier this year but shortly after we were sold out. Everyone was bummed, until I found a surprise stash of extra fabric which allowed me to add back in a limited number of Yellow Woodgrain bags. The secret stash sold out in 2 days ~ but, I was sneaky and saved one to give away for this special week :]

Giveaway #2

The second giveaway is from one of my FAVORITE fabric shops, Hawthorne Threads. They are giving away $50 shop credit to one lucky reader. This hubby & wife team works out of NY, and they are super efficient at answering emails, shipping orders, and providing a huge selection of fabric.   1397. Congrats!!! I am SO proud of you!! just want to give you a big hug and do a happy dance with you!! I turned in my two week notice at my full time job, so I could move to a part time job and be with my kids more. Would LOVE the tote to celebrate my move toward what you are doing!!!
