Yesterday Emily emailed me about this shop >> AllSaints, a London-based company, and {swoon!} they have my attention. She sent me the image above… a picture taken from AllSaint’s San Francisco storefront display. Emily was so sweet — she said the display reminded her of me. And maybe my 1916 Singer sewing machine? ;]

Oh my….I just need ONE! I’ve been looking for something perfect (meaning exactly what I need and great quality and super cheap)….but haven’t found it. Think they’d let me borrow one for…well, the rest of my life?
OH MY GOSH!!! I almost fell backwards off my chair when I saw this. I LOVE vintage machines. I have a stable full of them including a lavender Fleetwood. Yes, I have a lavender sewing machine….. and a Turquioise Sewmor, a Singer Featherweight, a Singer 99 and I’m wanting more. Confession – I do have a modern electronic machine which blew up after 1 year. My 1940’s and ’50’s machines continue to sew strong.
Oh Gussie, I love you for sharing this one. Just wish there was an All Saints in nearby Chicago.

LOVE it! I walked past their storefront in NYC
and stopped dead in my tracks. I was taking pics, then went inside to take better ones when the shopgirl snapped at me that I couldn’t be in there taking pics. I took one step back outside and kept clicking away! I’m not a rule breaker usually, but this display made me change my ways! lol

I just couldn’t believe they had so many machines in that one store (it is a big store with about 5 big windows on a corner), but to think they are doing this in their branches all over the world just blows my mind!! Where did they get them all from?!
