We’ve been planning this trip home for months now and yesterday we boarded our first red eye to Michigan. Of course it was so easy, Maxwell slept on both flights and the cities glowed below. Lightening struck beneath us on one as we flew from California to Michigan, that was incredible. We are home for the week and it feels so good. Our extended families are meeting Max for the very first time. It’s so beautiful seeing their faces light up when their eyes connect.
It feels good to slow down for the next week; we are welcoming the change with open hands.
I can’t wait to experience everything this week has to offer…

Have a great trip to Michigan. He’s at a great age for them to meet him too. They will enjoy his smiles and coos. We r on an east coast trip all week. We left Michigan yesterday at 4am and drove to Boston. Good times.
