My daughter loves my husband’s motorcycle, but she is too little to ride it. So he just scored her a step 2 toddler motorcycle and a fisher price gas filling station for $10 on craigslist. Today is Wednesday, I’m spending the day with my son and some friends at a pumpkin patch, and in 13 days, our baby girl will be here! Love the headbands!

I spent yesterday evening with my brother-in-law on home for a short vacation from Afghanistan, so it was a good evening, and we are celebrating our troops and the fact that we get to visit with him!

Even though our baby chicks died the other day, and our hens killed by some unknown animal- we’re hoping the new hens we get today will do okay- And we are getting more baby chicks next week! Gonna pray that our new little animals will be ok- they light up our lives because they are so much fun!

something positive… I just kicked some major hiney during my planning period and got all of my backwork graded and put in the computer! AAAAANNNDDDDD… I am having a sub come on Friday so that I can stay home w/my youngest daughter whose daycare is closed that day, and I just found out that there will be a guest speaker that day, so the lesson I had planned I can save and use next week. This week I got to spend a lot of time with friend making a quilt for missionaries coming to our missions conference this year. They are retiring from the field so we’re hoping this quilt will help them to feel like the US is “home” again.
