  1. What a great collection of goodies! I would definitely use the tags and library cards for my Project Life scrapbooking project. The buttons and cabochons might get put to use for unique jewelry items. (I just saw a blog post yesterday about making RINGS with buttons!) My daughter would certainly come up with ideas to use any of the things that I can’t use. Thanks for the chance to win!

  2. I would love to use those library cards in my SMASHbook, and I’m pretty sure a few minutes on Pinterest and I’d have tons of ideas for all the other goodies :)

  3. HOW FUN! I can use the library cards for a book exchange party i’ve been thinking of planning. Maybe put the buttons in a mason jar for decorations until I think of something better…..i’ve got plenty of pinterest projects!

  4. Ohh yay! Thanks for sharing! I’d love to make some cards from the prize pack or even some cool tags to put on my shop items!

  5. I would definitely make a frame with my 5 year old out of the buttons. She would have a ball. Then I would have to do some online research for the rest! I love to let my daughter help with crafts that are fun for her but can be used around the house.

  6. I’d use the buttons to make a monogram G for my baby girl, Gabriella. I’d add the in flower cabochons for a delicate, girly touch.

  7. I LOVE crafting sites and a good deal. If i were to get this package I would make a picture collage with all the buttons for my craft room of my Etsy Store Name. I would use all the other items in miscellaneous crafts…they would NOT go to waste! Great giveaway!

  8. I’d use the flowers to make some hair things for my daughter, and those buttons! I know I could come up with something for those!

  9. There are so many things you can do with all those goodies it is hard to list them! I would use the buttons for some rings and probably put the flowers on some hair clips and other accessories!

  10. Oooo….so much fun stuff! I would have a lot of fun with all of it but those bright, colorful buttons really stand out to me. It would be fun to do various crafts with them and even make some fun jewelry!

  11. Awesome giveaway!
I am currently in the middle of crocheting my daughter bunting for her room and I was going to make her name out of buttons so that would be awesome!

Also the elastic and cabochon would come in real handy for headbands I’m planning to make. And I think the tags would give me the push to sort through all my yarn that really need labeling! =)

  12. I know I’d have a ton of uses for the buttons – lately I’ve been using buttons to decorate picture frames and I’d like to use the suede cord to make bracelets or use it as trim to add new life to something. I love crafting with my daughters – a great opportunity to bond and be creative and be free from distractions (iPods, phones, computers, TV).

  13. My son is over my shoulder saying, I wana do an art project with that. Haha! I homeschool him, so I’m always looking for fun art projects. And I love planning parties, so I would incorporate some of these things like the tags and Kraft labels. Id Use the buttons and rest of the supplies for a fun art project with my son!
    Thanks!
    Xoxo

  14. this kit is so cute! & diverse! it makes me wish my long school-related to-do list would disappear so i could craft something (story of my life). the faux suede excites me the most – i can see some gorgeous bracelets to add to my collection with those, maybe a few with dainty charms. the big buttons would be used for my crochet projects (ear warmers & boot cuffs). the tags and stickers would be stamped on & kept for special gifts, while the elastic would be used for DIY ruffle skirts! the little flowers would be for a rainy day project that needed some bling and those old-school library cards would stump me! maybe used in a scrapbook page or matte for a picture.. of a pretty library, perhaps? ahhh so many ideas!!

love your blog. found you through It’s The Small Things Blog!

  17. Ooh! Look at all those lovelies! I think the first thing I’d make is a headband!! Then a button necklace or bracelet!

  18. I’d love to use the old library cards in my son’s reading nook at home. He’d love to play pretend with those :)

  19. I would use this pack to create with my little guy. he is very creative himself and would Love, love those buttons! thank you for hosting this giveaway. I also posted on facebook.

  20. I can see a whole bunch of things to make. First, I’d use the buttons, elastic and suede to make an adorable little girls shirt. I’ve also seen heaps of ideas for doing monogram frames with buttons. For the library cards, I’d start by doing my love story to my husband (as seen on the dating divas). The tags would be awesome as little love notes left hanging around the house, or as tags on brown paper packages. My creative juices are flowing and I wish I had all these things right now!

  21. I make all my own cards and would love to use the stickers, buttons, ribbons and other embellishments in my cards. I love all the bright colors! Thanks for the giveaway!

  22. I love buttons and those are so cute. I’ve been making clothes for my little girl lately so I could definitely use more fun stuff to embelish with.

  23. I would have my nieces over and let them go to town being creative with these items. I’d probably sneak myself at least one cute headband too though!

  24. I love those buttons! They are so cute, and i’ve been needing some lately for headbands. I also think the fold-over elastic is adorable.

  25. I would love this! I would make a lot of headbands with the fabric i just got. I would love those buttons for making headbands too! It’s all so cute!

  26. directed here by an o l d post of emily anderson. love the giveaway! honestly though, i prefer to just look at, sort, and organize my beautiful, colorful craft supplies. these would be fantastic to sort :)

  27. I would love to make something with these…maybe use the buttons for some decorating on birthday packages I’ll be sending out soon. Love this!

  28. I thinks those items would work together to make a really creative piece of art or perhaps a mobile for my son’s bedroom.

  29. First off, I would make some cute earrings. Then, I would use all of those cute buttons to put in a peace sign pattern on a throw pillow. Not sure how I would use the rest, but I am certain I can come up with something.

  30. I would definitely make some cute gift tags…the colored tags would look great with a button glued on them, or the little rose bud flowers. I think I would use the library cards for a cute bulletin board at school – Read Across America Day is coming up (March 2nd)…I need a cute new bulletin board. Maybe an interactive one where my kids use the cards to list favorite book for the month of March (hmmmmmmmm…), now I’m thinking. The elastic bands would look sweet wrapped around a little gift box, with a button or two glued on it. Then, you could leave the gift box plain – no wrapping paper needed! I would love this little kit!!

  31. i’d love to embellish cards i make and/or decorate my SMASHbook, esp w/those super retro cute library cards…i have headbands in mine w/those pieces of elastic!

  32. Well, my sister and I are already planning to share these and I would use them for packaging for my small business and my sister would use them bracelet making stuff.

  33. Definitely make something for the book lover in all of us. What a fun way to share your favorite read by going old school and “checking it out” to someone. I would make a pocket insert for the front inside cover and place the library cards in them. You would be able to see where and to whom the book has traveled. I would tie a piece of the suede cording to a tag in a contrasting color and stamp it with horizontal lines. It would not only be a bookmark, but a way to keep track of words to look up or favorite passages.
The elastic bands are great as wrap-arounds for your journals, especially when embellished with cute buttons and flowers.
As for the kraft paper stickers, I would make a template and run them through my printer with a cute font of my initials or a cheery saying, then use them as envelope seals.

Gussy Sews is on my iGoogle Homepage so I don’t miss anything.

P.S. Have you heard of Pick Your Plum. Same idea as The Plaid Barn. You can never have too many deals!

  34. Bookmarks, scrapbook pages, a fun book/pillow with a card inserted to “check out” the pillow and book for a read and snuggle, I could use the elastic for some of my never ending sewing projects and the kids could likely think up a million ways to use it all as well. No shortage of possibilities!

  35. This is such a great little package! I think I may use the buttons to make a super colorful DIY belt that I saw on Pinterest for my daughter… and the library cards are so fun, perhaps write recipes and display them in the kitchen? The other tags & cords would be great for gift wrapping! eeek so much fun – thanks for the offer!

  36. Oh wow! This is such a cute pack! I’ve really wanted to start making cute tags for gifts, but I haven’t gotten around to it much yet.
    Alesha <3

  37. I’ve been itching to make cabochon bobby pins for a long time! I’d love to give it a shot. :-) Also, I’m drooling over how many cool places I could use those buttons in my sewing projects…
