{stream of consciousness, my sewing machine}

Most of the time I love to sew in silence. To listen to the hum of my machine as I press the foot pedal below. I love to see the needle bob up and down, to watch it play with the fabric. It’s like it’s own game of jump rope; the thread as the rope and the needle as the sweet girl playing with it. I sew in silence because inside my head I’m thinking… I love to dream up new blog post ideas, to think about new products or fabric or shops to work with. I love to take a few moments and pause and pray and promote my God. Most of the time I just need a few minutes to reflect on my life // thoughts // dreams. To silence all other thoughts and just be me.

* We have some new sponsors in the sidebar — yay :] Please be sure to give them some love by clicking over to their shops. There’s such a variety: photography, baby, knit, jewelry, camera straps, wall vinyls, stationary, clothing.
