{Decorate your home with art from Red Letter Words // a giveaway}

This giveaway is now closed! Our winner is #30, Leigh of Funky Faith Girl :)

Red Letter Words is our XL sponsor this month and we’re so happy to have them! Dee is the designer + enthusiast behind the canvas art shop {including prints, candles, gift sets, even fabric {stop it right there!}} With our recent, life-changing move to California — that I can’t stop talking about — I’m a total believer in filling your home with things that encourage + inspire you. And getting rid of the rest ;)

Life is HARD! Life is BUSY! Life is meant for pursuing your PASSIONS, and Red Letter Words does a beautiful job at allowing you to feel at peace with these things by offering art/gifts that reflect such things.

If you could have one piece of Red Letter Words art in your home to help encourage you, which piece would you pick?ร‚ย At the end of this post I’ll share why you need to know that :)

As Zack + I unpack our most-prized possessions, I think about this question. And I find myself leaning towards this RLW print:

Yup. Purpose.

That’s what’s important — we all have purpose.

But do we all believe it?

I poked around the RLW site and want to share some of my favorite collections with you —

^ Fill your home with encouragement {scripture collection}

^ Two of my favorite prints, anchor to the soul + a word fitly spoken

^ Simple, sweet reminders of how Christ wants us to be as women in the Word {just for girls collection}

^ Red Letter Words even put together collections of their work {sets collection}

MEET THE DESIGNER// Hi, I’m Dee — a Heart Artist. I make art. Designed like an erased chalkboard, the look is casual, modern, vintage and timeless. The message is bold and straight from God’s heart to yours.

I started making art for my own house in 2006, then gave it away to friends and family. It was a huge step of faith to open an Etsy store in 2008. I was much more comfortable giving my prints away and not having my whole heart out there. I know that was my moment of “stepping out of the boat” — Once I took that step, God was able to take it from there. Ephesians 3:20 is a great scripture to describe RedLetterWords . . . He is able to do exceedingly abundantly all that we ask or even think according to the power that works in us.

Wow ~ accomplishments I am most proud of? My husband and I just celebrated 19 years of marriage! We have 4 kids ages 15, 12, 9 and 7. I think they’re pretty sweet. We started to homeschool last year and are seeing a 14-year-old dream come true as we travel around and explore God’s world together. As far as business accomplishments go . . . its pretty cool to have scripture art on the front page of Etsy and to see your work in retail stores. But the best thing is the encouraging emails from strangers who just write to say thanks or keep it up and share part of their story and how God has worked in their lives.

If you are thinking about opening a shop. . . pray about it. If you feel that nudging . . . do it already. There will never be a “perfect” time. That desire is there for a reason. It’s scary but take a small step in that direction. Then take another one and another one. See what happens.

There will never be a รขโ‚ฌล“perfectรขโ‚ฌย time. That desire is there for a reason. Itรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs scary but take a small step in that direction. Then take another one and another one.
