{Inspiration Workshop! — VINTAGE}

It’s time for another week of inspiration ~ where each week we link up RIGHT HERE and blog hop for an extra dose of that WOWZA! feeling. It really is so much fun :] If you’re new here, you can ready more about the Inspiration Workshop! here.

THE PROMPT ~
This week’s prompt is VINTAGE, and ohhhhhhh, wee! I’m excited to check out your blog posts to see what that word means to you. When I think of that word I can’t help but think about vintage sewing books + patterns. Those things come to mind instantly, I think because I’m always thinking about sewing and the vintage machine I have :]

MY INSPIRATION ~
When I stop to really think about the word VINTAGE, I think about cozy, calm, cream, and the color yellow. I think about an inviting kitchen where I’m free to talk for hours, like this one ~

I also think about sewing and crafting in a room filled with LOTS of colorful fabric. VINTAGE reminds me of a slower lifestyle {oh, in my dreams!} with activities like sewing & baking ~

And lastly, these fabrics…

  1. I love that kitchen! It’s so bright and inviting. It’s like the opposite of mine…our cabinets are stained wood and dark countertops. :-/

  2. I second that “Yay for vintage!!” On my vintage hit list this week is vintage linens to re purpose as hairbows for my lil lady who starts kindergarten next week. I also want to make a bunting out of vintage yummies.
    I desperately love this etsy seller. She was one of my first etsy transactions- a hat for my then newborn daughter-yes, the one leaving for kindergarten(waaaa!!). Please check her out if u are searching for vintage:
