YEOW! — so today is my birthday! i love, love, love celebrating my birthday. to me, birthdays are accomplishments! they are happy days, an entire day of thankfulness. today i turn 26 years old, and i want to share this day with you. just last year, on my 25th birthday, i celebrated as an indie biz owner. and today, an entire year has passed since that fun milestone… birthdays are kinda like goal checkers, and so today i’m clinking my glass to yours that, YEOWWW, we checked-off some of my goals together! :]

He could’ve just set the world in motion and called it “good,” but He poured His creative heart into His work, into His creation, into us! And now as image-bearers, we get to reflect that creativity back in what we make, what we write, what we do, and even in how we interact with others! How wonderful that we’re not robots – so, yes – I’m thankful for God’s creative heart and mind!

  222. I am most thankful for my husband bc even when I’m snappy he still comes alongside me and helps me to fold the mounds of clean clothes. Really, he is infinitely patient and because I don’t handle stress well and usually do get sharp, he hangs in there anyway. This quietness is a better reminder to check my attitude more than any yelling would be.

It’s the biggest and scariest challenge I’ve been faced with so far and it’s taken a lot away from me but it has changed me for the better in so many ways–I’ve started pursuing my dreams and stopped taking the small stuff for granted (I’ll always be grateful that my diagnosis gave me the kick in the pants I needed).

We get one every week and after cutting it up it gives us 5-6 containers of juicy sweet amazingness (not a word… should be). It’s been 90+ degrees here for a while (like all of may, june and now july) and because I stay at home with our almost 3 year old, we need a really nice refreshing snack when we’re outside playing. After 4 years of fertility treatments, he was born 8 weeks early at 2lb 7oz…there was a time we wondered if he would come home from the hospital.   1040. Well I’m thankful for sweet giveaways! But really, I’m thankful for my uncle! He’s had such a great outlook since being diagnosed with Parkinson’s you can’t help but be touched in a positive way. :) he’s rad.
