  23. I love your posts where you talk about learning to sew from books and YouTube because, well, that’s how I’ve been teaching myself knitting patterns. You can only make squares for so long before you get bored (and on the topic of knitting, the finger knitting tutorial was pretty sweet!).

If I had one of these, I would take it with me to the flea market where I like to shop for treasures. :) I would stuff it with all the necessities needed for the flea…cash, coins, lip gloss, and cell phone.

And as for how I’d use your gorgeous bag, my hubby and I just moved into the heart of the city and we are blessed to be able to walk to work together every day (hooray for a 3 mile round trip that doubles as my “workout” for the day). I could definitely use a cute bag to haul all the many random things I can’t live without back and forth from home to work.

    Plus, in the wet and somewhat dreary winter months of Portland OR, your bags are so cheerful who wouldn’t smile when passing one on the street? So technically I’d be doing every one else in this city a favor by carrying one around. :)

  109. I liked your post about your workspace. You know what I love about you (and I don’t even know you!) is that you seem like you have a REALLY successful product and yet… you’re so simple. Your workspace is just a room in your place… it’s perfect! I love that it’s not over-the-top. Sometimes when people are successful it can go to their head and they need the newest, the best, the shiniest, etc. and you’re working with what you’ve got!

  117. i love all your posts that share all your business knowledge. i have found them so helpful! i have to say that my favorite recent post was the finger knitting. i made two long enough to wrap around my kiddos necks a couple times to keep them warm since i’m trying to keep my heat bill low (they looked very cowlish). plus i can tie them off so there’s no long pieces to get caught on anything. they both have ended up using them as leashes for their stuffed animals. so cute!

  147. i would use this lovely bag (the yellow woodgrain with the gray ruffle is my personal fave, btw) to stash my current reading obsessions and keep them together when i’m out and about. that way they are handy to grab and read when i’m waiting in the car for my kiddos, or at the coffeeshop letting them run around and play, or wherever!!

  154. I would definitely pick the the yellow wood grain! It was love at first sight! Firstly I would hang it on my wall in my kitchen which I just painted gray with a cool vintage frame around it cause it’s much to pretty to hang on my coat rack and then when I go out it would likely have the glamorous job of toting diapers, Thomas trains and bribe “Chochies” (aka chocolates). It would be well used :)

  168. it was hard to choose just one: black/damask w/a pink ruffle =) love it. I would use for purse & tote for everyday to carry iPad, snacks, water bottle, blood test. meter (my purse gets too heavy w/all this! plus all else I carry in my purse! the black won’t get too dirty too quick either bcuz we are always at the soccer fields!!

I always carry a purse and a tote bag, because I carry my work around with me everywhere and don’t want it cluttering up my purse. These bags and actually everything you make are so precious!
