I’ve always had a knack for learning and asking questions, so this doesn’t surprise me at all. I mean, when I was learning how to sew I checked out thirty books from the Ferndale, MI Public Library — if that tells you anything about me ;) I wanted to know more than just what one creative author had to share, I wanted to learn from many creatives!
Maybe you’re the same way with your learning habits and interests? I just think it’s so neat how a process begins, and then is modified until it’s “a perfect process.” Of course, there are always adjustments and new things to consider with the passing of time, but that’s really the beauty of creating: it’s never finished. A new perfect process can be made; change can happen. (What a relief.)
I found this short video on Facebook of how a globe is made, and I knew I had to share it with the MWD community. Have you seen it? I can’t get over how meticulous these women had to have been with their cutting and gluing.
PS. Here are three more creative process videos: how to upholster, how to sew a dress, and how to make a handbag.
This is just AMAZING! :-O I love videos like this!
I know — I do, too! It would be so fun to do a mini-series feature on this subject! ;)
