This month marks my 3-year anniversary of learning how to sew ~ it’s incredible to think back at my journey and see where I started // where I am now :] A few years ago I had found Etsy and I loved that girls my age knew how to sew and managed their very own online boutique. I wanted to learn the trade, too so I went to the library and checked out 30 books {seriously, I brought a laundry basket with me}, watched dozens of YouTube videos — viola! welcome to the Gussy Sews shop. Well, I’m not sure I can pick just one thing I like – I love the headbands (houndstooth is my fave) and I love the kindle bags, but maybe the tote bag – charcoal dot would be my number one pick. OH but i like the houndstooth camera strap with the pink ruffle. It’s too hard to pick just ONE THING!! :D Thanks for the chance to win!

  535. picking a favorite is so hard :: i love the totes, but i also love the camera strap covers or a little zippered pouch. your stuff is wonderful. it’s amazing to me that you only learned to sew a few years ago. i want to learn how to sew . . . maybe we could be friends and you could teach me? sound good? we live in the same general area, so it could work. however, i have 6 kids and approximately 87 seconds of free time each day, so finding time to fit it in might be a tad challenging. thanks for the great giveaway. chances are good i won’t be the lucky winner, but i would be thrilled if i were!

  1618. Oh my! Ruffled goodness! What about a smaller ruffle that goes almost all the way around on an elastic headband? You may have tried those before & they stunk . . . but if not . . . :)
