It’s another week of What I Wore Wednesday… can hardly believe it! I’m linking up with Lindsey — hop over and see her WIWW post + the links at the end.
This week I found a cuddly puppy to sit on my lap. Bauer is *almost* 8 months old and is just over 20 lbs. He’s super long, though, which is why his body looks extra thick in this pic. I rolled him into a little ball and gave him a hug. Then CLICK! the camera took our picture. Bauer loves the camera. {Remember to come back later for his post — Bauer’s Daybook. Here’s his first post, from last week.}
Red stripe shirt, Gap. Skinny jeans + boots, Target.
This book, One Thousand Gifts… It is a blessing to be reading it. A blessing to have met the author, Ann Voskamp {at Relevant last fall}. Ohhh, my heart swells. Each night I look forward to translating a few more pages. Do you have a copy? Have you read it? {If not, what are you waiting for?}
This “nook” in our living room was supposed to be a reading nook. Of books. Instead it’s more of a computer reading nook. Do you think anyone minds?
Skinny jeans + gray sweater + purple stripe tank + boots, Target.
A few weeks ago I snagged this rug. It’s gorgeous ~ absolutely love the colors against the hardwood floor.
Share with us: What is your favorite color, and what if your favorite article of clothing in that color?
You are TOO cute! I can never take good pictures of myself, but yours are always ADORABLE! :-D
I’m partial to browns in my wardrobe… add a splash of color via an accessory, and I’m good to go. Favorite sweater right now is a brown v-neck with buttons. :)
I’m drawn to lots of purple lately :) Purple ruffle shoes, purple sweaters, my new glasses are even purple! :) Your outfits are super cute!
You’re adorable as always! :)
I love your outfits!!!
You are so beautiful!!
I love blue or cream. Then pairing them with a bright cardigan or an accessory!! :)

Such adorable outfits! And you have awesome hair.
I am really enjoying Ann’s book, as it’s given me a whole new perspective on gratitude.
LOVE the rug….I am eyeing them right now…TARGET???
I love Orange, but I usually only wear it as an accent, cause it isn’t pretty with my skin tone.
red and turquoise…fav!! this is the third time today i have heard that book mentioned. Guess i should go get it:)
I just bought that same rug at target for my kitchen and LOVE IT!!! Love your style!
My favorite color is purple! I love pairing a pop of purple to a white top or brown or aqua!

Aqua, I am so drawn to it, that and gray. But I love aqua shirts and tanks.
Hmmm, I’ve always really loved black as a staple for my wardrobe, but over the last couple years that has moved to gray. I have a new light gray {RUFFLES} sweater that I debuted on WIWW today and I so, so, so love it. I also have a swing style short sleeve gray sweater wtih one big button around the chunky collar. It’s great to jazz up with a colored shirt underneath. And my other favorite is a medium gray poncho sweater that I have not been utilizing this year … it’ll be perfect here in a few weeks though with a long sleeve-t underneath.
Happy Wednesday!!
P.S. I spend some time absorbing more of Ann’s wisdom last night. Lots of underlining and notes ;).
I was just going to say that Lucy, my “pony” is 4 1/2 months and 63 pounds. But she would still love to meet and hang out with Bauer, if her size didn’t scare him off!
I got your letter the other day, thanks~
