I’m sew very much looking forward to reconnecting with my machine.
To have my hands on some fabric.
To iron the pile of materials, waiting for me since last week.
Yes, you read that right. Gussy loves to iron :)

I’m sew thankful for my husband who sits with me as I share my goals.
My dreams.
My worries.
My “issues”.
I have a mile-long to-do list.
Don’t I always?!
Laptop bags.
Zipped pouches.
Wallets.
Some new items.
But tonight I’m going to set an end time.
A time when I’ll stop sewing, stop being Gussy for a little bit, and be a wife.
Hang out with my husband.
Relax.
Take a few deep breaths.
And come back to Gussy the following night.
You see, I don’t have all the time in the world to sew.
So the time I have is especially precious.
And wonderful.
And just pure bliss.
Last night Zack told me, I can’t believe you do all that you do. I couldn’t ever do all that. But it makes it very obvious that this is your passion because you never see it as work.
And that was probably the fourth time {ever in my life} I didn’t have anything to say back, because he couldn’t be more right.
xo.
