One of the first things I loved about the mamaRoo infant seat was how compact it is. We live in a cozy apartment in Los Angeles with our two young children and dog, so having furniture that’s compact gets a thumbs up from me. Something else I love? The pop of seat color against the white base. I am a huge fan of color, and having baby gear that blends in with the styling of our home makes me happy.
The time I have each day to teach my children well, to love them, to cuddle them and play with them really is fleeting. I love the quote, “the days are long but the years are short” because it’s a beautiful reminder to embrace all that mamahood is.
I’m embracing these wild, short years by making lists of all we accomplish each week. Even on the most difficult of days I’m amazed at all the play and learning we do together. I’m not afraid to ask for help, and our mamaRoo is my modern day Mary Poppins. It features comforting rhythms that calm Natalie, the contrast/color fabric balls make her smile, and I love that I can change the speed or sound through the 4moms iPhone app. The only thing it’s missing is a spoonful of sugar for mama ;)
I’ll be honest, it’s easy-to-use baby gear like the mamaRoo that helps me fully engage with Maxwell, prep meals or paint my nails (wink). And I can easily move the mamaRoo to whatever room we’re playing in so we can include Natalie, too! (Or she can rest quietly in the other room if big brother is being too loud.)
We love our mamaRoo and I’m so excited to offer one lucky Maggie Whitley Designs reader one, too!

Usually some web surfing or a little sewing. We will see how it goes with baby # 3. I may just be happy to sit quietly for a minute.
I’m a new mother, and I have no doubt my daughter would love the mamaRoo! It looks fantastic!
I love to watch an episode of Doctor Who or Gilmore Girls! Or take a nap, because our new couch is SUPER comfy.
A nap or reading
How cute is that? This would be perfect for the small place we are in with another of the way.
My husband makes us dinner and we turn on some son of anarchy and a glass of wine :)
Reading. Or just sitting on the couch in silence if it has be a loud morning.
I love to browse the internet!!
With a good book in a quiet house!
my favorite way to unwind is to take a hot shower. even if it has to be quick :)
Our first baby is coming in June! The mamaroo would be perfect in our small house!
Honest to goodness I usually just enjoy the quiet time doing nothing or resting myself! I’m expecting my 3rd early May (my first girl) and I would love some new equipment as this one is getting an awful lot of hand me downs!
Ooh… Read, enjoy a mug of tea, check insta. :)
LOVE!! Wanting a mamaroo for my babe coming any day now!
I am due in March and fawn over the Mama Roo everytime I walk into the baby store. I think he would absolutely love it. And mama too :)
Would love to win for my daughter who is expecting her first baby! She is an interior designer, blogger and scrapper, and nanny!
I’m out of the baby stage but my grandbabies would love this!
I’ve already been eyeing this for our first baby, due in July, we also have a tiny house and need as much compact great as possible.
would LOVE one of these! Second baby on the way and our oldest still won’t be two yet!! Thinking it will come in handy ;)
Reading, sleeping or sewing!!
I am pregnant with my first baby and he is due in April. He will be here before I know it! I just love the mamaRoo design.
Oooh, totally want one but have never been brave enough to drop the cash! :)
I usually craft while baby is sleeping. It’s the only chance I have to get things done!
Thanks for the chance to win! My little Charlotte would love this!
I like to do my nails when I get some me time.
When little ones are resting, I clean up, read, or cross stitch!
This would be awesome to win!
My favorite way to unwind when my five week old is resting is to catch up on my favorite shows (Parenthood and Big Bang Theory) and drink a cup of HOT coffee ☕️❤️🙌
I am so glad you’re recommending the mamaroo because I have been interested in them for a long while and now that I am expecting my 2nd daughter in June it is definitely on my want list. lol. And I am STOKED that you recommend it for an apartment space. It’s just perfect . well fingers crossed for getting picked! =)
have a beautiful day.
also I like to unwind with a long ( yeah right) a 15 minute bath ♡
I like to unwind by browsing Pinterest in my fuzziest slippers and sip on tea :)
Sleep and a good book are tied for me. With #2 on the way sleep will probably win out!
My favorite way to unwind is to take a bubble bath or hot shower!
I like to unwind by catching up on all of my shows that are on too late for me to stay up and watch!

Would love to win for our baby girl!
How generous! I would love to win this – it’s on my registry for baby due in August! Would love to win this, thanks Maggie!
I would unwind with a nice bath…or a quick nap :)!
I like to lay on the couch and get caught up on my social media – blogs, IG, FB, and even pinterest.
Well I don’t have babies anymore (but know lots who do!) my favorite spot was on the couch, reading and then falling asleep!
Sarah M
I like to catch up on all my shows on DVR while nursing the baby, or filling out his memory book while he’s asleep
Usually it’s a hot shower or settling down to an episode of whichever show were currently watching on Netflix. We just finished The Office :(
If I’m not taking a nap, I like to scroll through Instagram or shop online.
When baby is resting, sometimes it is best to unwind by turning on the tv and turning off my brain, lol!
I am due in April with my first and this would be great!!
We have one on the way… but I imagine I’ll enjoy some quiet reading or a long walk with baby in the stroller and my dog leading the way. (p.s. Ruby says hi to Bauer!)
I usually watch some Netflix :)
A cup of coffee and a good book
I’m due with our first baby this June! I’ve heard awesome things about the mamaRoo’s and would love for our little one to relax in one of them someday!
I love a good cup of joe and fresh new pages of a journal :) with my first I blogged a lot but now I like to journal to get my writing out.
Enjoying a cup of a cup of coffee that is actually still hot and reading a book or working on a craft project.
Oh with a little luv on the way, I think making sure I spend some quality time with my lil man will be uber important to do… even if that means snuggles & nap time for us all! Wink.) Thank you for the super sweet chance, this is amazing!
I love reading or catching up on a favorite show when I have a minute – anything that makes me laugh is the best! (Brooklyn Nine-Nine is my current favorite!)
Drinking some coffee & catching up on the New Girl :)
Sometimes it’s cleaning (even though it is a bit of work, having a clean home can be soooo restful for me!), and sometimes it’s something on Netflix, Pinterest or my Bible study – and on rare occasions, tweezing my brows or doing my nails :)
Hello there! We recently had a baby boy in November to join his big brother. What fun! I haven’t be able to purchase an infant seat, so this would be just the thing!
Unwinding can look different every day. Usually it’s showering or baking. Sometimes I really need to scrub the bathroom with the doors closed for some uninterrupted alone time, because who else wants to clean the toilets?!? Ha. Great giveaway and congrats on your precious baby girl.
I like to read a book or nap while the baby naps.
Sleep or mindlessly watch Netflix!
When the kids are resting, I love to eat my lunch! Sometimes it’s so refreshing to eat a meal without interruptions so I often wait until nap time to eat.
I’m due with my first in August! Mamaroo’s look awesome and I would love to have one for new baby!
Taking some time for myself (long shower or bath, reading, getting a pedicure, massage, or even my hair cut) is how I like to unwind! Browsing Target by myself also does the trick! We’re expecting baby #2 come May and currently have a 15 month old. I’m definitely taking note of how you have blossomed into this new role of mother of 2 close in age!
I am expecting number three so i am usually napping right now but if I had energy I’d craft! :) These look awesome!
I like to take a warm shower.
So cool!
I like to read or nap with baby. Sometimes it’s also nice to straighten up the house because I always feel more relaxed with less visual clutter!
Mindless HGTV watching, completely zoned out
My favorite way to unwind is with a book and hot cup of tea :)
To keep my 1 mo old cozy while I spend one-on-one time with my toddler:)
My favorite way to unwind is with a cup of coffee and Pinterest! :)
No sure yet what my favorite way to unwind when baby comes yet since he is due in April but with my 4 year old, it’s just sitting down relaxing with my feet up with a warm cup of tea.
It always changes but lately I will make myself some lunch and watch a little bit of TV to relax while he naps. So nice to eat a hot meal without having to share with my 15 month old!! Although I’m 36 weeks pregnant with baby #2 so I’m thinking my days of going that are numbered….
I wanted two of these with my twins, but they are a little on the pricey side, so I didn’t get them! Would love to win one for my next child!!!!
What a fantastic spin on a bouncy seat – it is much more versatile and takes up much less space than all of the other gadgets! I’m sure you enjoy your free time :)
Love this!!
I have absolutely loved the mamaroo since the first time I saw it, love at first site! Haha. I have that mom crush on anything that can help make parenting easier, baby comfortable and give me more time to help other siblings while still keeping an eye on the baby without her being in a whole other room snoozing. I would absoutley love this, it is the only baby gear I wish to add to our home. ((:
Sleeping myself! At least, that’s what I did for my first, not sure what I’ll do with the two!
My sister and I were just looking at these!
Besides a crib this is the number one item on my wish list for baby number 3!!!
My favorite thing do do with my son while he’s sleeping is lay down with him in outpr big bed (he’s not the best sleeper even now at 19 months) Sometimes I’ll read on my iPad, meditate, sketch a little bit, or just sleep. It’s been the one thing that restores us both and I love the cuddles we share. When we have #2 I probably won’t have that luxury anymore :( a mamaRoo would be awesome for this alone! Fingers crossed!
I’m expecting my 3rd child this year and would LOVE a mamaRoo. My two kids currently nap/rest at the same time and I’m in the early stages of pregnancy so I most just crash during nap time. I’m trying to fold laundry today, I’ll probably collapse in it though!
I always used to run around like a headless chicken, ticking off my to do list when my son napped! I soon realised that looking after myself and having some me time was much needed for my sanity! I love having a hot cup of tea, catching up on some guilty pleasure TV, paint my names or use a face mask! I little bit of TLC and I’m refreshed for him waking!!
I love to get some reading done :)
I live to sip on some coffee and read a book!
Knitting, embroidery, sewing… Basically crafting in general.
Also reading & journaling.
Knitting or napping… both are equally wonderful!!
Sleeping, reading, tv, or organizing!
Love it! Been thinking about getting one!
Reading in bed and a nap!
our baby is still on his or her way, but I suspect I’ll enjoy reading a book in my favorite chair with a candle lit!
I like to read or watch a chick flick.
I love to sew or read!
Thank you for this opportunity! I’m due in May and this would be such a blessing!
Love to have a little ME time either cleaning, catching up on DVR, or sewing!! Love this new style mama roo would LOVE one!
I have a cup of coffee, put on my favorite christian radio station, and cook. Even if it only lasts 20 minutes, I feel like I had a little “me” time!
I like to catch up on shows on the DVR or nap since they say sleep when baby is sleeping! :)
Sitting down at my sewing machine to create something with a fresh cup of coffee in my hand :)
I love to read!!
Reading a good book or a quick yoga session!
this looks amazing. I have a 4 week old and I think she would love this. She really need something that is like being held.
A nap of my own or catching up on TV or a magazine. Anything where I can be still for a minute!
Sleep. And paint my nails:)
I would so love to win this mama roo as an expectant mom :) we’re so excited and this would definitely make life easier when baby arrives!!
